Birds and the Bible retreat (3 days)

Birds feature much more in the scriptures than you might suppose. This retreat is a special opportunity to learn in depth about birds and what they reveal about God's love. Guided birdwatching walks suitable for complete beginners, plus a rhythm of Celtic-style worship and reflections on 2 of the key types of birds featured in the Bible - the eagle and the owl.
Our time will be spent on and around Holy Island which in October hosts considerable numbers of waders, duck and geese as well as arriving migrants from continental Europe and warblers from Siberia.
These retreats are designed both for Christians and for people sympathetic to the Christian faith who wish to learn more about birds in a place internationally famous for its birdlife and its Celtic Christian heritage.
PRICE: The retreat is for 3 nights from Friday 19th to Monday 22nd October
