A unique weekend break that involves meditative Christian worship, enjoyable presentations about birds and guided birdwatching with local experts. These unusual retreats are designed for Christians and people sympathetic to the Christian faith who wish to learn more about birds in a region internationally famous both for its birdlife and its Christian heritage.
The break includes a full day's birdwatching on Holy Island which is home to many thousands of wintering birds, boasts fabulous scenery and is rich in a spiritual history that includes St Cuthbert (the first Briton known to protect birds!) Sunday's programme includes birdwatching around Bamburgh - the best place in Northumberland for the beautiful Long-tailed Duck.
